Exclamation So so close! - March 12th 2013, 05:46 PM

Hi. I've been depressed for about 5 years now and it's been getting so much worse recently. Its become a struggle to do anything, and even breathing feels like such an effort now.
I've purposely fallen out with my friend so that she isn't as upset about my death, i've eaten all of my nice food that i was saving for special occasions, and I know what i want to do.
I just don't know what to do, well i do, but a tiny piece of me says no.
Argghhhh, this is soo exhausting and Uni is just suffering horrendously.
There's no way out for me, except permanently :/

Listen to that tiny piece of you saying no. There's always a better way out.

And to be selfish here, I love talking to you and you're a ridiculously awesome person, so I can't just let you do this, you know.

Please please please know that there is a better way out, and even though it might not seem that way sometimes, there is.

I'm really not good at this type of post, but I can't just not reply to this. "Death is so finite, but life, life is full of possibility" Tyrion Lannister once said, and I guess I'll leave that here.

There's still so much possible.

I don't know if that even helped at all, but I really hope that it at least maybe made that tiny piece of you saying no to this get a little bigger.

Stay strong Speckles.

There is always a way but it takes time and it takes hard work. Suicide should never be an option, you shouldn't be allowing it to be an option. Do you know is there is anything making you feel this way? I know some people going through traumatic experiences or generally hard times which causes them to feel low but sometimes people can't really find a reason and I'm just wondering how it is for you? Either way, this can get better. People get through this and if others can do it, then so can you. You're still young and you have your whole life ahead of you. Sure, it might be hard now but that doesn't mean it's going to be like it for ever. It can and it will get better but for you to have it better, you have to be here which means you have to stay alive, stay fighting, hold on. Okay? You can do this and it will get better. Find reasons to live. Find things you love and enjoy and engage in hobbies and meet with friends. It's not always going to be this way.

"Suicide does not end the chances of life getting worse. Suicide eliminates the possibility of it getting better".

Stay fighting, you can do this, it will be worth it and YOU are worth it.
Jessie.

Hi, Sophie.

Whatever you do, always listen to the part of you saying No. That voice, is so right. It keeps us from making choices such as suicide because deep inside, we know that suicide isn't the answer. However, I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way to feel as this is the only way out. I wanna reassure you that it certainly isn't the only way out because things get better. They really do. Don't forget that. Can you spend time with friends, take up some new hobbies and try out new things? And talk to someone about your feelings?

Sorry about the falling out with your friend. Still though, she'd still be devastated, even more devastated at how she left things with you. Constantly wondering what she could have done. Suicide hurts everyone around you. Remember that things won't always be this way.

I'm here if you need me. Feel free to message me anytime.

Stay Strong <3
