Question Does being depressed pains your mind? - April 25th 2013, 08:44 PM

Today I have been a bit depressed, I cannot hold the stress I had and the more I feel deeper into this depression, the more my head hurts. School, future and things are at risk to break my sanity and the more I resist, the pain trembles in my head... becoming powerful.

After I got home, the resisting finally stop and I felt like my head had a massive hole (not literally). The motivation to do anything important and private for me just... vanished and I think deeper thoughts...

Does daily depression cause pain in your mind?

Hi there!

Yes, depression has a number of physical symptoms that include but are not limited to: Head/stomach aches, body aches, dizziness/lightheadedness, fatigue, sleep problems, digestive problems, and changes of weight or appetite.

How long have you been depressed? Has it been more than just today?

I think you should take a time out or yourself. Take at least twenty minutes to do something you really enjoy so you can be mentally refreshed.

Thanks, It was just a strange new experience for me when things doesn't go as planned and I can't handle it. I also noticed extreme sweating and temperature rising in my body as if I was going to explode.

It could have been a panic attack.

I think you should try and detach from things a bit. Do something you enjoy and something that's not stressful or go for a refreshing walk. Relax.

Hope you feel better. Take care of yourself. <3
