Thumbs down What's the point? - April 30th 2013, 05:18 PM

Someone please enlighten me on the point of life?

All living does it hurt you. More and more as time goes by. You think things get better, but they don't. They will seem like they are, but just before they do, they become worse.

I can't deal with living anymore.

All of the good things that I may have to come, will eventualy die anyway.

What is the point of life?

i have asked that question so many times myself, and it had brought me to a dark place every time. yes logically, we're all going to die. some of us because of life experiences, biological reasons or whatever are going to suffer more than others.
what if, there's life after death? what if after death there's a better place that would make all this suffering nothing but a memory? what if at the end of your life, you look back and realize that despite it sucking so much, the end point was worth it?
well that's just my pov, because i believe that i'd be going to heaven with God because Jesus Christ paved the way for me, so i'm holding on till i'm there (without killing myself).
i hope you find your answer soon, coz honestly, for the answer to this question, you gotta search for it on your own

and the voice of truth tells me a different story
the voice of truth says "do not be afraid"

Hi, Jade.

I agree with the above poster. 100%.

I realize things can get really bad, and I really am sorry that things are this bad to make yourself start asking this question. But really, my view on this is... Getting through each stage of life, getting through the bad things which will be hard, I'll become depressed but hopefully I'd have people around me to help me through it. I might go on a wrong path, but eventually find my way back and then afterwards, you've learned. You learned from the mistakes, the situation, and how to better handle it next time. You learn better coping mechanisms, you open your eyes that things do get better and become stronger from this situation. You figure out just how much you're worth it when you try. And, after we make it through some really tough times, I find it not only beneficial to us, but we're able to pass on our experience, relate and offer advice to those going through the same things. We can help others find hope and help.

I'm not sure of your beliefs, but this is my view. During this life, I think the best thing we can do is stay hopeful and inspired, make friends, help people and ourselves, and have as much fun as we can. Live life to the fullest. Afterwards, I think of Heaven. Not dying from suicide but after living your life. I think that'd be amazing, special and all the hard things we've gone through will be worth it, nothing but a memory, bliss.

You've been through a lot, Jade. You've struggled a lot but you've come so far, you can get through this too. Even if you need others, then speak out, reach out, it's okay to need help. You're a beautiful person and you surely deserve happiness. You can do this. Don't ever give up and lose hope.

I'm here if you need me, lovely.

Stay Strong <3
