I can't anymore - February 5th 2016, 10:04 PM

I am so exhausted. Everything has come crashing down around me and I literally cannot bring myself to care, death and oblivion sound so appealing at the moment and the only thing that helps even the slightest bit is self-harm. Which I'm trying so hard to avoid even though it really doesn't seem to be addictive for me but nothing else works, not any of the "alternatives" I've heard about or anything. I don't think I necessarily want to die I just don't see the point in continuing to exist, all I am is a parasite wasting time and space and life so the world would probably be better off anyway without me in it

Hi Nammie. I'm Kelly.

I'm curious. Are you being treated by a doctor for depression? It makes a world of difference if you find one who you like. Even if you don't want to do medications, having a psychiatrist to talk to can really help. They often come up with some off-the-wall suggestions that can help.

For example, my psychiatrist suggested I buy Yogi Kava tea. It supposedly has a relaxing effect. It does seem to help when I'm upset. Whether that's a placebo effect or not, it seems to help.

Do you have any hobbies? Trying new things keeps you busy and you might find something that keeps your interest. Physical exercise of any sort (even wii sports works!) helps take my mind off things and helps me 'stop' feeling. I stop thinking about my problems and I just think about how good it felt to be productive or how tired I am. So it gets my mind off it.

I took up boxing and absolutely loved it. But it's expensive. So that might not be for everyone.

If you want to talk one-on-one with me, feel free to message me. Also try out the chat-room or submitting a helplink ticket.

No, I'm not being treated for anything. And even exercise doesn't help although I do a lot of it. Maybe I'll try the tea I don't know

Nammie

You're not a parasite. You're someone who deserves the best because there's so much for you in the future... no giving up! Remembers.... if people think of you negatively or end up hating you for no reason, then that's their fault. You're your own person, and you deserve love and care . Perhaps if the old alternatives aren't working, then it's better to try some more new activities. Your life is supposed to be full of love, happiness and good thoughts and you can definitely get them back. There's nothing you can't do for yourself because I believe that when there's a will, there's a way.

You deserve better than to feel this way, and there's absolutely nothing for you to feel guilty about, or downplay yourself for. You're special in your own way, and nothing can take that away from you because you deserve so much. And the world is definitely better WITH you in it because you are capable of love, care and fun.

No matter what you think, remember that you're stronger than you think you are, nicer than you think you are and sweeter than you think you are. I think that for you, it'll be good if you do one good thing per day to help people out.. and that'll also remind you about the fact that you're capable of so much.

If you want some advice or just need someone to rant to, I'll always be around because I want you to feel better. You deserve all the hugs and care in the world!

It's called a tunnel because there's ALWAYS a light at the end.

rant to me if there's anything!
