Hi DK,

I know it can be hard to get over an old relationship, an ex. What was it that made you remember her? I think maybe it would be a good idea if you asked the other girl you like out anyway. Even though its difficult, you need to accept that that relationship is over and you need to move past it. Maybe you could spend some time with your friends to make you feel better, you could ask them what they think you should do?

Hey there DK,

It's always hard breaking up with someone who you really liked and it's okay that you're still thinking about your ex. It's good that you shared some happy memories and you'll always have those memories DK, no one can take those memories away from you and there always going to be there when you want them. Try not to look upon it as something upsetting but something that was fun at the time. I know it can be frustrating, DK, but we have to learn how to keep living with those memories.

If you were going to ask another girl out, why don't you? It sounds as though you must like her if you were considering asking her out in the first place. It might do you some good, especially if you like her.

In my experience the best way to 'get over' some one is to find someone else you like as much or even more

Never loose the happy memories you have, just make new even better ones

I'd ask the girl out, give it a chance?

good luck

It might be a good idea just to set some time aside for yourself. If you aren't ready for a new relationship, you don't have to be in one.

It's good that you realized how much your ex meant to you, but it is no guarantee that the two of you will get back together. The best thing you can do is take it as a learning experience and see the good in someone before that kind of situation comes about. Give yourself time to be sad, it's OK. As time goes on it will get easier, the memories will be there but not as strong, and eventually you'll be able to look back on it as a learning experience.
