Exclamation Never Give Up - December 19th 2017, 04:13 PM

I'm not asking for advice. I just want everyone to know that they matter and they were placed in this world for a reason. Everything you all have been through or are going through is not in vain. It is or will be part of your past that builds you stronger. It may be hard to believe but pain will end. Even if this depression has lasted for years there is always another answer. And that does not mean suicide or self harm or any form of drug. Help is available and there's always other solutions. This pain is temporary and with help, you really can change. Your mood will be stable, you'll have tools to cope in healthy ways, and you're life will feel incredible every day you wake up. I promise you that life will get better. Never give up on yourself, okay?
Now go home, take a warm bath and just breathe. Listen to your body, meditate on what's important to you. look up inspirational quotes and save them as your wallpaper to your phone or computer. Now get ready to start searching for help. Search for the answer to perminately change your soul.
I know what it's like to be in such a dark place. My answer is Jesus. I believe that is the hope everyone needs. I won't force you to accept what I know to be true, but find the one thing that truly changes you. Or multiple things, if that's what you need.
I have prayed for healing and even after multiple suicide attempts, I made a full recovery. I am doing so well now and suicide never even crosses my mind anymore.

Never Give Up because you deserve much better than pain and agony. You are worth the care and the love that people don't always show. They forget to ask how you're doing because they're so wrapped up in themselves. But I promise, they would be very devastated if you left. I want you to know that you matter.

Please stay strong. You are a very strong person and we all love you. PM me anytime you need to okay? I'll be around anytime. I can give you my phone number if you want and i WILL reply. I just need you here and I love you all.

Cheyenne, thank you so much for writing this! I think everyone, at one point or another, need to read a uplifting, affirmative message like the one you wrote. We all deal with depression and go through recovery in different ways, and yours is reaching out to Jesus through prayers. I wish you all the best with recovery and if YOU ever need to reach out, don't hesitate to do so, please. Recovery does not mean you cannot ask for support and advice.
