Temporary help - April 15th 2018, 02:56 AM

I'm not sure where to start, but I've dealt with depression and anxiety and self harm for a long time but recently I've had a lot of really bad things happen in my life and I know that in time wounds will heal somewhat and I won't be as emotional and depressed about my current situation but the severity of importance my current situation has for me is almost too much to handle and I need some kind of advice or ways to cope without going back to self harm or worse. I feel with my current situation things have happened to me that I will never be the same person again and that I will never feel okay again or be able to be happy again. If anyone can please help me at least get through the night and give my mind and heart some kind of ease I would really appreciate it. My inbox is open to anyone having any kind of issues whatever it may be I know what it is like to hurt and no one deserves to feel pain, so if anyone needs advice or someone to talk to I'm all ears for anyone who needs it. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I know what you mean. I went through a situation a few years ago where I felt the exact same way. I can say having come through the other side for the most part, that you might not be the same person you were, but you will be okay and happy again. It will take time and early on (where I'm guessing you are now), it will be excruciating. It's perfectly fine if all you do right now is breathe. I won't say that this will make you "stronger" or "better" or that you'll be glad in the end that it happened for whatever reason or whatever the cliche is because I honestly don't feel that way about mine, just a lot different, but I am happy again and things turned out okay. Different than I thought they would, but still okay.
