[SIZE="a"]I am done trying to make any of this work. There is no point to any of it. I'm going to die anyway. I didn't choose to be born, why should I be forced to suffer and continue to do things I hate doing for the rest of my life until I die. Isn't choosing to die cheating the system?

We're born, we're told to go to school, get a job, and then we work in some dead end job until we die. There's no point.

I don't do anything anymore. Nothing makes me happy.

I started self harming again, after over a year of being clean, and its the only thing I look forward to.

It feels like I'm trapped in this body and in this world that I don't want to be in.[/size]

Hey there,

I am sorry you are struggling so much. There are times in life when we can feel stuck and it can make things so much worse. I know I've felt stuck for a very long time and it led to me struggling more with self harm and depression. I am wondering if there is something or things that have led to you feeling this way? It might help to discuss what is going on and if you provide us with more insight we might be able to support you a bit better.

Do you have anyone you feel you can talk to about this such as friend's, family, other trusted adults or a counselor? I think finding someone to talk to could end up proving quite beneficial. Maybe looking into seeing if there are any counselors that would be available to you. Depending on where you are it is possible that your school has counselors that you could see.
Have you ever considered blogging or writing down your feelings more regularly? I used to blog and journal quite a bit and it gave me a safe place to vent about everything going on in life. When I am struggling a bit more I tend to blog a lot on this site. It might be worth looking into our blogs section.

Something else that might help is interacting with your peers. I think it can help to find people that have similar struggles and interacting with your peers might help you find people who can relate. This could help you gain support. Another thing that might help is joining a group counseling session. There tend to be a lot of different ones so you might be able to find some in your community.
