Things just keep getting worse - September 26th 2018, 09:29 PM

I've written and rewritten this post five times or so and keep deleting it every time. I don't really know what to say, I guess. I've been in a depressive episode since August 28th and things just keep getting worse. I have no motivation to do anything. I stay in bed unless I absolutely have to get up and go do something. My psychiatrist is working on finding the right medication combination but it's taking forever and in the meantime my condition keeps declining.

I don't know what I'm looking for. Just wanted to put this out there.

Love joins
Love unites
Love breaks us apart
The power to conquer here in our hearts
Enduring and sacred
Eternal as time
For love, love alone will conquer all

I'm sorry to hear you are going through a rough time right now. I hope your therapist and you can find the appropriate medication to help.

Hi Jordan,

I've missed talking to you! As soon as I saw this was posted by you I knew right away I would read it. I know how hard finding the right combination of medication can be, and then when you feel like you have, it turns out it's not. It feels like a never ending spiral, but I can promise you, it will work out in the end. It took lots of medication combinations to find one that worked best for me that wouldn't interact with each other.

Maybe you can try some other things in the meantime while you're waiting? Yoga? Essential oils? I personally love Essential oils. I use them all of the time.

I'm glad you know that we are here for you no matter what, even if you don't know what to say. Is S still able to be there for you? I know you were struggling recently with the 'method' that was left on the table.

Are you able to join a club of some sort? I'm not sure what else to suggest (I'm slightly sick at the moment) I hope that this helps a bit. I hope with you knowing that we are here for you.

Don't ever forget that lovely <3
