Hey..Can anyone suggest any method to get rid of stress and depression ue to hectic work

I'm struggling with deppression.Please help

If you think you're experiencing depression and you have the means to do so it's always a good idea to talk to a mental health professional, either a therapist or a psychiatrist. They're best equipped to help with those symptoms.

That said, I am sorry to hear you're dealing with stress and being overworked. I can see why that would make you feel depressed. In addition to what I mentioned above (and of course using the resources here, which I am very happy you have done), I would suggest carving yourself out a small chunk of time each day for you. Time to just breathe and be. I know that may sound a little hokey, but it's been shown that deep breathing and meditation can really help with mental health. There are plenty of apps where you can find guided meditations if you think that may help. There's also ones on YouTube.

If meditation is too much for you, which is absolutely can be for some people, especially when they're really depressed, try going for a walk, or doing something that will recharge you physically and/or emotionally. Eat something. Stay hydrated. Play games on your phone. Do a puzzle. Do something you like to do, or know you used to like to do. It may not help right away but it will be comforting to your brain and body and set you up to get back into the pattern of doing it.

I agree with what Jordan says especially contacting a Therapist to speak to.

I would also like to add that writing in a journal or even something as simple a coloring may help relieve stress. They even have those fancy adult coloring books.

Obviously work can bring on stress which can bring on anxiety and depression. The holiday season can also add to that as well. So stress relieving techniques like meditation, deep breathing, guided imagery, and yoga, just to name a few things. These are effective because these are things you can do on your own with none or minimal amounts of money.

Depression is a hard thing to deal with as it can really eat at you inside to out. That being said I think it is extremely important to bring the issues that you are dealing with out before they snowball into something that is too much to overcome. Taking things a little bit at a time time instead of trying to tackle an issue that you let build up so big inside that may end up tackling you in the end is the way to go. Talking with a therapist as suggested above is a great suggestion. Bringing the issues out and hearing other professional opinions can be a big weight off your shoulders.
