Not sure what I知 feeling lately - May 6th 2020, 04:50 AM

[FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""][FONT=""][COLOR=""][SIZE=""]I just feel off and on down lately not sure if it痴 depression because I usually just have anxiety but my biggest feeling is that nobody cares about me and that is the worst feeling ever not sure If this all ties into my anxiety or if it is new but it痴 all pretty much made me sleep even more and my health condition of diabetes worse. Any suggestions.[/size][/color][/font][/size][/color][/font]

I'm so sorry that you're going through this, and that it's taken so long to get a response. Sometimes when we're really depressed, we can become convinced that no one cares, but that's not true. I care, even if I'm just a random person on the internet! I'm so glad that you were able to reach out to us here.

I know you said that you don't usually feel this way and just have anxiety. Are you quarantining right now? I know that many places around the world are on lockdown right now and that this has had some pretty dramatic effects on some people's mental health. Do you have any friends that you could possibly reach out to and video chat with/talk to on the phone? Sometimes seeing/hearing someone's voice, even over the phone or video chat, can go a long way to getting you out of your head and back on track.

Also, do you have a therapist that you're able to talk to over the phone or video chat? I know that this whole situation has made it more challenging for a lot of people to get the care they need, but it might be something to pursue if you think it would be helpful to you right now.

I would encourage you to take things slowly and try to do little things you can enjoy each day. I personally have been finding a lot of comfort in music right now, as well as working on various things. You might not be up to anything huge or extravagant, and that's totally okay! (I'm not over here writing the next great American novel or anything, trust me!) But try to look for little things that distract you or bring you small moments of joy.
