Have you thought of calling one of the help-line things that teenhelp advertises? I've never used one of them but they're supposed to be really helpful, and I know at least a few of them are 24-hour.

I don't know whether you mean this is a general problem or an immediate one, but if it's the latter you might want to call:
1.800.Suicide

Best of luck to you

Hi there,

It is extremely important to seek help if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts. If you cannot seem to get in touch with anyone, you could always call a hotline (many listed here do not have religious affiliations) or an emergency line if the thoughts and urges are severe. Teachers, friends, family, coaches, and other important figures in your life are also options. I know it may be scary to talk to someone in your life about this, but I promise you, it is well worth it in the end.

The most important element of getting through this destructive pattern of thinking is to talk to someone. However, it is also important to take care of yourself on a regular basis; do things that make you feel good, especially when you're feeling so down. Listen to your favorite music, go for a walk, watch kids' movies, play with Play-Doh...these are all great ways to relieve tension and distract yourself.

While alternatives and taking care of yourself can temporarily help relieve some of the depression you may be experiencing, it is also very important to seek professional help. I know the term sounds so intimidating, and it can be very scary to seek help. Yet again, however, I can assure you that it is well worth it. You deserve to feel better. You deserve to heal from this. I know you can do it. Speaking with your doctor would be a great start; he or she could reccomend you to some form of psychotherapy, as well as possibly a psychiatrist. Again, scary words, but I swear, it's not nearly as bad as it sounds.

Please, seek help for this. You do not deserve this pain, you do not deserve to feel this way.

If you'd ever like to talk, feel free to PM me. Take care.

in a long time,
I can say that I wanna try.
I feel helpless for the most part,
but I'm learning to open my eyes.
And the sad truth of the matter is,
I'll never get over it,
but I'm gonna try
to get better and overcome each moment
in my own way"
