I do not know what is wrong? Am I going into a depression? I keep feeling waves of sadness and anger. And it is starting to trigger my cutting.

If you're looking for an escape from something by self harm, then it's probably depression. Try to think of what's causing you to hurt yourself, and then work on improving those areas if you can.

Look for other things to do besides cutting, such as drawing or hanging out with friends. Whenever I'm really angry, kickboxing relieves the pressure of everything around me. Try some different things out.

Good luck.

Waitin' for my ruca.

My freaking mother just came in here and was being all gross, that really, really ticked me off. I am literally on the verge of doing this.

And I have to share my room with my darn 10 year old sister who I feel like killing at the moment because I hate her.

Hi Alisha.

I'm sorry you've been dealing with emotions like these lately, and I know what a burden they can be. It also makes things even more difficult when you feel the need to cut, so I can see why things have been so difficult for you lately. Are there any problems you feel may be contributing to these negatives emotions and urges you have been feeling? You mentioned your mom. Does she make things harder on you? If so, maybe you could have a talk with her and let her know that she has been contributing to the issues you are struggling with.

I also think it would be a good idea for you to mention all of this to someone you trust. Maybe a friend, or a close family member you feel that you can count on? It's easier to suffer with someone who can be there for you then it is to suffer alone. If you feel you have depression, maybe you should consider seeking professional help before your cutting and your emotions spiral out of control. If talking can help, it's definitely something to consider.

I'd also make a list of the things you feel may be contributing to these unpleasant emotions you are having. That way, you may feel more capable of solving the problems, and therefore eliminating the depression that you are feeling.

I do hope things improve for you soon. Don't stop believing in yourself. Things can always get better, right? PM me anytime you need to talk. x

just wanted to encourage you to reach out for help to people in your life because it sounds like you may have a mental illness such as Depression. Many Mental illnesses like depression are treatable with medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes such as eating balanced meals and getting enough sleep. It is however very very hard to go it alone. Your life is valuable, and with treatment things CAN get better.

the only thing you can count on is change, so why don't you stick around? This too shall pass. Things get better, things get worse, but it won't be this way for ever. Don't be afraid to ask for help. your life is valuable.

clinging to hope is all we've got left.
