Drowning... -
February 26th 2010, 01:20 PM
I feel so helpless...
I feel like just ending everything. I'm invisible to my "friends", my family is kind of a mess... and I have ridiculous amounts of school work and I just don't want to face anything anymore. I feel like I want to die, but I don't want to talk to anyone because they will be like "stop being all depressed and go hang out with your friends"... I don't know where to go... |

Hey there,
Firstly I can tell you that ending it will only cause more hurt and pain for the people you leave behind, the people that care about you. Do you really want to do that to them? And, it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem! You are worth so much to every single person. Everyone at your school/college would be devastated, anyone who you would randomly bump into, the person who works at the corner shop. They would all miss you, whether you believe it or not. Could you try talking to a teacher at school about your school work? Perhaps an email could be sent round to your teachers that just says you are struggling with some things at the moment and could they cut you a little slack perhaps? And don't be afraid to ask your teachers for help with the work, they are paid to help you do well! Talk to people on here about it, we are all here to listen and help you the best we can alright? You can come to us about anything. But I would suggest you talk to a professional of some kind if these feelings persist, they could get you the help you need to get through this. Stay strong and don't forget you can PM me if you ever need a chat or anything. Take care <3 |

Hey there,
I'm sorry that you're feeling so bad right now, you don't deserve to feel this way at all. It's important to realise that this can get better for you. I'm sure that you're not invisible to everyone, is there someone, friend or family, who you could reach out to at this time? You could also consider talking to a teacher. You deserve to be taken seriously and it's important that you stress how much this is affecting you. Not everyone will react by saying "stop being all depressed and go hang out with your friends", some people may be more supportive than you think. Concerning your school work, it may be a good idea to sit down and organise a time table for yourself or go and talk to a teacher about how you're struggling - they may help you with time management and also give you someone to talk to. Take care of yourself. |

Hey there,
I know when everything adds up it can be very overwhelming to think about everything. But, take things slow and one step at a time. I'm sure someone in your life will listen to you and help you feel better. You never know until you try. Even if you reach out to a friend, family member, or teacher, someone out there will help you. It's surprising sometimes when you realize how many people are really there to help you. Don't be afraid to reach out. Like people above me said, talk to your teachers about your school work. When they realize how much you are struggling, I think some will lay off a little. You just have to let them know it's too much and you are doing your best you just need some more time. Teachers were your age at one point if you think about it and I'm sure some of them went through tough times too. But killing yourself won't solve anything. It'll just cause more problems with everyone who cares about you. You will get through this rough time, just stay strong. I believe in you. Take care, ![]() Alessa ![]() |
