Unhappy The greatest person to ever walk into my life. . . - July 21st 2010, 09:36 PM

Im not sure which subject this post fits under, but i think this one is most relevant.

Right, here goes. . .

My friend (here i'll call him Josh) and I have always had a sort of argreement. Whenever either of us was upset we'd sit on my front garden, share a cigarette and our problems. It was the best agreement in the world. We both knew that we were here for eachother and that we could trust eachother, but this was the only time we really spoke or saw eachother. It was nice.
This has gone on for quite some time.
The other day Josh and I were supposed to meet to go out for the day, the first "date" since we had met. He didn't show. I was upset, thinking he had changed his mind. Yesterday i found out that he didnt show because he had family problems, kicked out of his home, disowned by all his family, no where to go
Just two minutes ago he was stood outside my house, on my front garden with a cigarette, like old times. Only this time Josh looked ill, tired, worn out, carrying all of his belongings. He was so depressed I wanted to help him, only he refused and wouldnt let me
We spoke for a few minutes, then he picked up his stuff and gave me a big hug. We both started crying, knowing that we would possibly never see eachother again.
I don't know what to do
Should i call the police or something, so he goes into foster care? I can't leave him like this I've always loved him as a brother, what can i do?

Whats really silly is the fact that I'm going to have to wash my hair after posting this. It smells like smoke, like him, and its making me cry even more

You need to tell an adult you know and trust, and let them take care of it. You can't handle this on your own. But if you decide to try, you should probably head over to your local police department or something. Things will work out, doll.

I can feel you all around me
Thickening the air I'm breathing
Holding on to what I'm feeling
Savoring this heart that's healing <3

hey hey, try finding out information of maybe housing services around your area for youths? it's probably a hard time for him, but don't let that affect your emotional state as well. you've to be strong to help him. (: it's great that you care so much about him, and he probably feels it too.. how old is he? if he's 18, he could be his own legal guardian and can probably rent an apartment outside, though that does raise the question of getting a job..
let us know how things go, and what steps you're gonna take (:

and the voice of truth tells me a different story
the voice of truth says "do not be afraid"
