Getting really bad - April 9th 2011, 10:46 AM

This thread has been labeled as triggering, particularly on the subject of suicide, by the original poster or by a Moderator. The contents of this thread therefore might not be suitable for certain sensitive users. Please take this into consideration before continuing to read.

I've never been this bad before. I'm thinking about it every single day. I find myself stood at work, thinking about how easy it is. I've got plans. I want to hurt. Really, really bad. I wont even leave the house now unless I'm going to work. I live too close to dangerous places to trust myself.
I nearly jumped in front of a bus yesterday. Only just stopped myself.

This is getting beyond bad. I'm scared. What do I do?

Hi Jo,

If it's getting worse then I strongly suggest seeing your doctor about it. They could refer you to counselling and make sure you're safe.

Perhaps try talking to your parents too so they know what's going on and keep your mind focused on other things so you don't have as much time to think about it.

I don't know whether this would help you but when I feel down I have a collection of positive pictures that I look at and it helps me to feel better. I know there's loads of positive pictures on Tumblr and Google Images so you could try that. I'm currently making a happiness scrapbook so I can take it with me wherever and look at it if I need a mood boost, making it could also help distract your mind

Also, if you ever need to talk or rant about anything then you PM me, I'll be happy to listen.

Take care, things will get better

I an the same way right now...it's worse for me...I'm afraid of myself...I sit at school so depressed...I've come in reaching distance of killing myself...I think everyday about it and I'm scared :/

Whenever things go wrong, I ask why this had to happen to me....

Is life ever truly worth living without a meaning?

Love's not a fight, but it's something worth fighting for.
