Well, there are a few things I do, personally. When I feel Depressed, I'll kind of try to push myself to get out of the house, mostly. A nice walk, seeing friends, listening to music, etc. I also paint, draw, play video games, watch a funny TV show/movie, practice electric guitar (I've got my boyfriend's old electric guitar), and a bunch of other things.

Honestly, I suggest taking up a hobby, or two, or a dozen . Just, find stuff that you like to do to keep you busy. And push yourself to do it, even if feeling unmotivated.

Hello distraction is the best technique also try to keep your self bussy then you wont have time to think about the bad stuff. Also if things get bad just realise that you can phone a helpline if you wish to or speak to your friends maybe try a new activity for fun or something hope this helps stay strong you will get through it i suffer with depression and i know how hard and dark it can be but stay strong xxx
