WHHHHAAAA??!??!??! - May 22nd 2011, 12:25 PM

I'm really confused with myself right now. because, like, at the randomest moments i'd just think "I'm gonna kill myself". Most of the time it's when I do a small thing wrong, or when I think back on something horrible, and when i have disobeyed someone important to me, someone I love. it's frustrating and annoying and i need help.
like, sometimes i won't feel ANY sort of feeling whatsoever, and i'd be thinking of killing myself, saying "yes, right here, right now, for everyone to see".

help would be appreciated, thanks

I love you, just so you know. Stay strong for me.

Have you tried doing some exercises when you feel likethe that?? Such as telling yourself what is happening in the present moment, example "I am outside walking, a bird is chirping, the sky is light blue, etc."? It helps! Try talking to a psychologist too

I know the feeling, I've had it before, most of the time I would just try to distract myself, for me, television is super mind numbing, so I would sit down and watch a movie I liked.

I like what Max said too, about talking about what's happening, it really does help.

When you feel like killing yourself you need to try and do something to distract yourself from that thought. Talking to a professional is a great idea. Just remember that although you may have done something wrong or even if the thought just pops into your head that the people around you will be sad by your death and alot of people i know that have had their loved ones commit suicide never really get "over it" or deal with it. I do urge you to seek professional help they will be able to help you with understanding why your thinking it and how to change that thought process.
