I've come up with a new plan. - July 8th 2011, 12:01 AM

I've attempted suicide before. I overdosed and all I did was puke black up all the next day and had tremors without anyone ever finding out.

But I have an overpass by my house which I've found to be a better plan.

I'm 20 years old. I'm a loser and honestly have nothing going for me. My family has their own lives and they want to really move on with our lives without eachother.

I've drank everyday for a year so I pass out before I kill myself. It really does help. It helps me be the outgoing non feeling person I need to be.

I reached out and got professional help when I was 18 after two/three years of cutting and suicidal thoughts. But the counsellor never helped. They didn't treat me like a person, just another client.

I try to work as much as I can so I can't be distructive but its impossible. I'm no longer a teen and I shouldn't be posting on here. Sorry.

you have to keep pushing. and it doesn't matter if you're not a 'teen', we still want to support you. maybe finding a different therapist would be more helpful for you? You have so much you haven't even gotten to experience yet.

Hey Talia, I'm not a teen anymore either, TeenHelp is available to anyone and everyone who needs it. I would suggest finding another counselor, sometimes it takes awhile to find the right person for you. Your family would miss you even if you don't necessarily believe that and you have a lot of life to experience. There are more than two choices. You don't have to live this way or die, you can live and be happy again.

First, it doesn't matter your age, "Teenhelp" just had more ring to it than "Teen/Young Adult and other youngish type peopleshelp"

I'm glad to hear you reached out for help before. However I am not glad to hear your counsellor didn't help. SOme don't, and like there are many problems, some counsellors are better suited for some than others. I would recomend that you go and get help again, and keep searching until you find a counsellor that's right for you.

Sure it might bother them, but what are they being paid for it not to help you? It is their duty to help you, so find someone who is right for you.
