Every now and then I get these really strong urges to do something violent to myself. The combination of depression and anxiety makes me wanna crawl out of my fucking skin. Yeah I'm quiet, but there's so much that I want to express to the world. It all builds and builds inside of me and I just wish I could take this knife and cut it all out of me. There just so much that I can't let out and I just wish I could cut open my throat and let it all flow or at least break a few fingers. I know I sound crazy but I just wanna explode. How can I slowly let my emotions out without harming myself?

hey, you know, sometimes in situations like this, the best thing to do is scream, or punch a pillow. Just get out all that tension. And then maybe just VENT everything in your life. Id be really happy to listen.

try other coping methods first, before cutting please i know how tempting it can be, in fact i struggle with it on a day to day basis, but i know that you can get through this. Im totally here to listen if you need somebody to vent to also, just PM me if you want.

Also, when its TENSION like this, please be careful. because cutting when you feel this particular way can be more dangerous... im just worried about you. Hope you feel better.

I feel that way so often anymore. Sometimes it gets to be so much and it feels as if my emotions just go into a shutdown. Then it comes back until I actually let them out.

Working out/exercising has worked for me in the past to release the anger and frustration. Also, reading or writing helps me to feel more relaxed and calms my anger.

You could scream, hit a pillow, get a punching bag, do some martial arts classes, dance, take a walk or run. There are many ways to relieve the anxiety.

Heck, I've resorted to pulling grass...It actually helped because it felt like I was ripping something apart, which helped relieve my anger.
