Too much. - August 6th 2011, 07:42 PM

"everything gets better in time" I'm sick of hearing that. How long does it take for things to get better? Years? I've tried ignoring how shitty I feel and I'm sick of having to fake everything, it's too much now.
Im on my breaking point.
I'm tired of driving down the road, or laying in my room thinking of ways to escape, when I know death isn't the answer, well what is?
I didn't have a bad life, but everyone has let me down, the people I always depended on the most always hurt me the most it seems like.
Rejection, Disappointment, Heartbreak, I'm sick of it all.
I want to feel like I'm worth a damn for a change. Why is that so hard?
Yeah, other people have it worse than I do, I know that and I'm glad for everything I have, but I would give up everything just to feel worthy and happy.

hey; it takes a while. and those breaking points have to be hit. there are no flowers without a little rain, eh? and while it's raining that flower is growing under the surface. You can so do this. I promise. You're strong. You've just shown me that because you're not giving up. And you're going to keep going, and you're going to win.

Sometimes people say that things get better over time because that's all they know to say. What Faith said is true, you can't have flowers without some rain. And you do have to hit breaking points, sometimes life throws feelings and situations at you and you have no idea how you're supposed to deal with them, but that doesn't mean that you can't. At some point things are bound to get better, that's all they mean. Just believe in yourself, and wait it out.

I know you don't just want to hear it'll get better, but to be honest, it will. It's hard, and right now, but that's no proof of what's going to happen in the future.
Are you talking to anybody professional about your feelings?
