Hey there,
Adjusting to a new environment can always be hard. I also think it can be even harder when that new environment does not seem to offer any of the things that you are interested in. This school seems to focus on sports and you are interested in drama and all that. That would be really tough but I assure you that you can make it through this. Have you considered looking into seeing if this school offers any type of drama program? They might have a drama club or something along those lines. I did not go to a catholic school so the types of things they offer might be different but it might be something to look into. I would generally suggest that you look into the types of clubs your school offers in general. Getting involved in clubs might be a really great way to find some friends. You said that you are hanging out with some boys and I am curious as to how you met them. The reason for my curiosity is because maybe they could be potential friends. Try not to discount the people that have shown up in your life as friends. If you do not know these boys that well try getting to know them better and maybe as time goes by you can develop really strong friendships with them. Try not to focus on how different you are because in all reality as you get older and even as your time in high school progresses there will be people who will appreciate your uniqueness. If you focus to much on the things that make you 'different' it will bring down your self esteem and make you a bit more sad and it might distract you from getting out of this funk and it might make it harder for you to meet people and get to a better place. Have you tried talking to your parents about how you are struggling? I think that would be a really good idea. While you still have to continue going to school it will help to have their support through all of this. Having a strong network of support can help people through a number of tough situations. Also, have you considered going down to your school psychologist and talking to him or her about your struggles? I know that might be a hard thing to do but in the end it can be a really good thing to do. It will give you someone to talk to and a psychologist might be able to help you find some coping skills for all the stressors in your life. I really hope this helped in some way and if you need anything please feel free to pm me. Jenna
There could never be amore beautiful you
Don't buy the lies, disguisesandhoops they make you jump through You were made tofill a purposethat only you could do So there could never be amore beautiful you -Johnny Diaz Everyday is so wonderful And suddenly it's hard to breathe Now and then I get insecure From all the pain, I feel so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down, oh no So don't you bring me down today To all your friends you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Tryin' hard to fill the emptiness, the piece is gone Left the puzzle undone, ain't that the way it is? 'Cause you are beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring you down, oh no You are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring you down, oh no So don't you bring me down today -Christina Aguilera |

Hi belarus.
I can understand you being young and having such a rough time. However, everyone has their own struggles they have to deal with in life. Years ago, I served in the military for four years and I hated every second of every day. Back then, the thought of suicide did cross my mind, but the only thing that stopped me was thinking about the people in the military who did not like me and how they would probably laugh if I did commit suicide. My only option was to keep my head up, do the job and get out when my contract was up. I am now a security professional and I'm doing just fine. It seems that you already know what you have to do, which is to get a 90% average every semester. It can be done if you stay focused and don't let the negative people get to you. Just remember that school is like work. Remain professional, do not get personally involved with people and always do your best. You can do it, kid. Also, don't worry about those school trips. They might send you to fun places, but I realized that when I went on school trips I felt like a dog on a leash. Get those good grades and you will have an opportunity to see better places. You are not that different from me. I also watch anime and listen to Japanese pop music sometimes. I just finished watching Bleach episode 341 and finished watching the second season of Kaiji. |
