i miss those days. -
January 1st 2012, 06:33 AM
i miss those days when i had no worries and i was just a happy person with barely any complaints about life. my days now are filled with constantly worrying and being sad. I just feel alone, and like nobody cares. Even when my family tells me how much they do care and how much they do love me; i just cant get it through my mind. i truely feel like nobody, nobody gives a crap about me. i dont know why i feel like this but i do. i get so upset over this, i cant even be around anybody. i want to get better, but sometimes i just dont even want to try. my doctor is on her last solution. She perscribed me antianxiety medicine to take everyday with my lexapro because she cant up the dose on my lexapro. Also, she is trying to find a group counseling to send me to instead of one on one counseling because that wasnt working out. i just hope this medicine works and i can go to group counseling and everything will get better from there.

Hey,
I am sorry to hear you are having such a tough time. It is understandable you are missing the days when you didn't have to worry all the time and didn't feel so alone. I'm glad you have your Doctor and your family. Even though it may feel like you are alone and that people don't care, it sounds like they really do. Do you think it may be helpful to have a sort of memory box where you can write entries of times people have said they cared about you? You could also include any cards or messages from people. Perhaps you could write affirmations about the fact that people do care. I hope that the new medication will help you in conjunction with your current on and that the group therapy will be sorted. Don't give up hope ~ it is amazing what can be found in even the darkest of times and though there may seem little room for hope right now, I promise you there is. x |
