What is the point in life? - January 23rd 2012, 03:12 AM

I can't identify the purpose of living.
What am I even supposed to do in life?
I feel like there's nothing that I could
possibly enjoy doing and succeed at it.
What would you want to make you look forward
to the next day? What in the world would
make someone happy enough to be happy
about life and living? I just don't get it. I feel lost.
Is it worth being sad or happy about something?
Are we actually just meant to eat sleep and work?
What in the world is going on?

try this:
make a list of things that you enjoy doing, after you have made that list, look over it and ask yourself what day you want to do each of those things on.
ex:
calling people
crocheting
taking long walks and or running a couple of miles
writing down how i am feeling
so i would decide which day i was going to the things i enjoy on,
then i would make sure i take the time to do those things when i said that i would do them. this makes sure that you not only have something to look forward to but also have something to do if you feel bored or if you just want to occupy your mind..
HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

the point of life is to enjoy it,how you ask, by thinking about the happiest time of your life and letting that emotion bubble up until you can't hold it in anymore.

I always do what I enjoy doing.
I actually do what I enjoy doing before anything else.
But in the long run, I still feel sad and lonely.
Then I feel like there is no point in life. :/

hey there. I guess there are lots of different reasons to live. While reasons for you now might be things more like meeting up with friends or seeing family, there are things in the future which are reasons to hold onto as well. Things like going on to uni or higher education, doing your dream job, falling in love, getting married and having your own children. Going traveling, writing a book, watching the sunset, helping others, running the marathon, anything. We all have different reasons to live and you my friend need to find yours. Really think about what you want in your life and set yourself goals and aim high because yot are worth it and you can get there. Dont give up and remember to live for the moment and take chances. It will be so worth it.↲Jessie
