Leaving well enough alone. - February 1st 2012, 04:44 AM

Yay, another post!

I don't know if it's just me, but I find that whenever I'm feeling a bit down, I go out of my way to make it worse. Like, I'll watch a movie with a negative plot or read a book about something similar. Maybe it's just masochistic, or something like that. I don't know. But when I'm in a bad mood, I just always find some way to make it worse.

I do that occasionally too. I don't know why...But jut know you aren't alone on that. I think its because at the time, we aren't letting ourselves think "oh its okay, we'll be fine."

When you are feeling like that, it is easier to find things that fit your mood. Our outlook on the world is linked with what we see. Looking at things more positively or optimistically can be hard when you are feeling down, but it may help you feel better. Have you ever noticed that even if you are in a bad mood, you get caught up with the happy emotions of the people around you? Watch a happy movie, hang out with a friend that makes you laugh, something like that. Stay strong. Please PM me if you ever need to talk to someone.

"To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour."
William Blake - Auguries of Innocence
