I was walking home from work yesterday and I heard a car coming up the road behind me and for a split second, I actually felt like throwing myself in front of it and the scary thing is, it wasn't like I just 'oh, I could do that', it was like for a split second I was actually going to do it. Obviously, the moment passed and I didn't otherwise I doubt I'd be here writing this right now but it just goes with the other thoughts about how if I put myself in a situation like that, I could probably push myself into doing it.
I don't feel suicidal, I'm actually quite happy but I can't help but occasionally think these things and I want them to stop, it's upsetting me quite a bit because well as I said, I don't feel like I want to do these things.
