Sorry if this is in the wrong forum not sure where to put it.

I have my first counselling session tomorrow and could do with some advice, as the thought of going is now terrifying me :'(

Re: Advice
Don't worry, every one gets this :) Maybe looking back at this will help: 'Let your dreams be bigger than your fears and your actions be louder than your words.' Just by turning up you will feel good about yourself and its a step forwards in itself :D Good luck and let us know how it goes :)

Re: Advice
Hi, it's completely normal to be afraid... Think that (generally) nobody likes to talk about their problems or inner feelings and it may seem weird to do it with a stranger, but that person is there to try to help you and he/she is not going to judge you or anything... The counselor will try to get you to talk and maybe help you see things in a different or broader way, but the key towards a recovery is in yourself.

Hope it goes well :)
