So glad I took him - August 18th 2015, 10:55 PM

Today I needed to take my dog to the Emergency Vet, Walk-in. He has an eye infection, a cold, but with red eyes. They tested them to make sure they were okay, that there wasn't a tumor or a scratch. I am glad I took him in because I am preventing him from getting a lung infection.

He has a plastic band around him so he doesn't scratch his eyes and hurt them. Got these eye drops for him that I need to give to him every 8 hours. Going back to see a vet on Monday to make sure he is doing well.

$203 dollars after, I think it's alright because I can't imagine what a lung infection treatment would be.

I have photos of him that I will post later on with his amazing dome head! He actually is taking the dome head really well. I'm so proud of my furbaby!

I am glad that you took him to the vet and I'm hoping he makes a quick recovery! Poor baby.

You definitely made the right call, and I'm glad he's okay. My dog had to have one of those cones around her head once so she wouldn't pick at her stitches - she did not take kindly to it and alternated between crashing into things and trying to pull it off. Poor thing.

His first night went well. He slept on the bed with me. He took over my pillow, but I took it back. When I woke up he was laying right beside me (kinda when you spoon someone) and thankfully his butt wasn't in my face the entire night.

Anyways, this is him. I took the photo while outside the Animal Hospital waiting for our cab to arrive.

Oh wow, he looks so much happier than my girl did when she had to wear one of those. He must be such a sweet dog, and I'm glad he's got someone as loving and attentive as you to take care of him.

Re: So glad I took him - August 26th 2015, 12:51 AM

He is better. We went to the vet yesterday for a check up, he is slightly over weight, but not by much...

He got a shot to protect him from getting a very bad bacterial illness if he were to drink mud puddles and another animal peed and had this thing. Anyways, since he goes to a farm and is outside, I got it for his protection. He goes back in 3 weeks for the second and final dosage of it.

The vet wants me to video him when he sleeps cause he's having nightmares and breathes weird so this can help them to know if something was wrong.

It's good to hear that he is better now, I hope that he continues to recover.

I'm glad he's doing better, and I hope you do figure out what's causing the sleep disturbances. That sounds kind of scary.

I'm glad he's doing better! I hope you've figured out what's causing the sleep issues and that it's nothing serious. How has he been doing?

He's been doing very well.
I going to train him to jump and stuff, I really can see him being a show dog.
Other than that, he's spending a week with one of my friends (friend is house sitting/dog sitting for me) and he's enjoying the company of my dog.
