My two Cats and a Dog

These pictures are of my 2 cats Magicman and Pebbles, and of my boxer Starlett. Magicman is about 4 years old now and I got him from my neighbors house when he was 3 weeks old. I guess her husband found them at a golf course shoved into a garbage can so he brought them home and I was allowed to take one of the kittens. The mother was no where to be found so they were all fed by bottle for a couple more weeks. Magicman is fiesty as ever and loves to rome around in the woods. Pebbles was the first pet I ever had and she's a 15 year old Tortishell. She tends to get a lot of knots in her fur because she tries to kill anyone who comes near her with a brush. She used to love to run and play outside all day long until she got to about 14 years old. Then she became more nervous with the coyotes around the house and raccoons. She now sleeps most of the day and at night comes out to play. Pebbles is easily annoyed with her brother Magicman who loves to attack her playfully. Lets just say Pebbles puts him in his place when this happens.

As for Starlett I got her about a year ago when she was 10 months old. Her owner became ill and couldn't take care of her anymore. I saw the ad in the newspaper and made plans to come and get her with my parents. She was really skittish when we first had her, unsocialized with people and dogs, and she hated the cats (still does). She never barked until we took her to the vet to get fixed. After that day at a year old she barked all the time. It was like she found her voice. When we go for walks she has to wear her prong collar or head halter because whenever she see's another dog she goes nuts and acts really aggressive. It's not that she wants to hurt the other dogs it's that she's mad at me for not letting her go play. Sometimes she gets too rough and doesn't understand that it's time to walk and not play. She's gotten better now to the point where she won't throw herself up into the air and tangle herself up. Now the most she will do on certain days is whine or bark, a huge relief for me. Star has started agility training and loves it so far. Her highest record was 2ft 6 inches. That day I was screwing around with the jumps and wanted to see if she'd jump it well she did. She also enjoys playing ball and running around like a nutcase. I want to start her on flyball but we're taking it slow. Her birthday will be on June 23. She's going to be 2 years old!

Would anyone happen to have any advice on how to get Star to stop chasing Magicman and Pebbles?

haha, the last picture of your dog made me laugh, she's pretty.

uhm, as for the chasing thing, i don't peronally yell, we had to spray my dog with the hose when he chased my cats and he finally stopped. Maybe google it or call a pet trainer in your area?

Awww...Alex.....I love your cats. Pebbles is gorgeous, he looks like he takes no crap from no-one! Gorgeous, absoluetly lovely animals
