Cat names -
July 25th 2009, 09:38 PM
Me and my mum are getting 2 new kittens, we went to pick them out, 1 of them was actually in the local newspaper, we found out a cat re-homing was full in the paper, we went to the place picked out 2 cats, came home and looked at the paper again and found the picure was actually of the one we took, AMAZING.
Anyway we came up with a name for the girl "Ginny" from harry potter, now we need a name for him, he is ginger and white, these are the names i like: Pit Ike Remus Fenrir Sheik Marth scout yer i know, 2 of them are out of harry potter and 4 of them are nintendo characters but we always like names from films etc, our last cat was named Gimli (Lord of the rings) i like scout ad Remus, but what do you think? ![]() |

Which ones from Harry Potter apart from Remus?
Is Scout from To Kill A Mockingbird? Maybe stick with Remus to match Ginny I love the name Ginny now!

Fenrir is from the new harry potter, Remus sounds good, and yes Scout is from To Kill A Mockingbird, got it from a cat name site. Dont have to go with them names you can suggest others.
Also my mum thinks Ginny sounds to much like Gimli, i say shes reading to much into it ![]() |

Those are very nice ideas, but how about waiting for a while to see what your kitten's personality will be like? That's how i usually come up with names for pets, then i pick a trait and try and make it sound more 'pet-like'.
Good luck =D & it's just like she's in another world. [<3] |

Yer i thought that, but with our last cat we named it and then it just workerd, like i say to everyone, if you say the name enough it works, like when people say "I couldnt imagin you with any other name" its just because people are used to it, i could call him "Dog" and it would stick in the end.
dunno why but im fond of scout, dunno whether my mum will like it though ![]() |

You could always go with Harry.
Okay, nevermind, but if you got Ginny from Harry Potter going with Remus would be kind of cool. Then your cats could be Harry Potter themed. ![]() Seriously, though, when it comes to naming my animals, I go to baby names website(babynames.com) and go through names until I find one that I like. If you like to name your animals after movies maybe you could go through your favorite movies or favorite characters and pick a name from there? Sorry I didn't make a name suggesting but to be honest when it comes to naming my animals I don't do a very good job. Hope this helped. ~Jenna~ There could never be amore beautiful you
Don't buy the lies, disguisesandhoops they make you jump through You were made tofill a purposethat only you could do So there could never be amore beautiful you -Johnny Diaz Everyday is so wonderful And suddenly it's hard to breathe Now and then I get insecure From all the pain, I feel so ashamed I am beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring me down I am beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring me down, oh no So don't you bring me down today To all your friends you're delirious So consumed in all your doom Tryin' hard to fill the emptiness, the piece is gone Left the puzzle undone, ain't that the way it is? 'Cause you are beautiful no matter what they say Words can't bring you down, oh no You are beautiful in every single way Yes, words can't bring you down, oh no So don't you bring me down today -Christina Aguilera |
