Swollen ear -

Okay, so, I was petting my uber old cat.. And I noticed her right ear was folded. They're usually straight up. Shes a ragdoll cat, btw. So anyways, I felt inside the fold, and its swollen. It seemed that something bit her. It hurt her when we touched it though. It was like a purpleish color. I called my dad over and he said something must have bit her. Its almost an inch long, the swelling.

The best thing I can suggest is that you take her to the vet? The vet will be able to fix her up and make sure nothing is infected, etc. However, I know it can be hard to get animals to the vet and what not so if that is an issue I would watch it and see how it does healing on its own. If it doesn't seem to be doing well in a couple of days then you should probably go to the vet.
