What should I do? -

My Cat is my baby. The one thing I let myself love. He is two almost three years old. He has been having seizures for about a year and a half. He isnt happy and he seems to be in pain...The vet said that it could be his diet so we pay a lot for special cat food...it hasn't helped. They said they could do a cat scan and surgery but thats way too much money. My mom said that I should consider putting him down but she also says its my choice. He is my baby and she wont make that choice for me. I don't want to loose him...but I dont want him to be in pain...What should I do? Should I keep him alive...or let him die?

Hey,
This sounds like a difficult decision and I am so sorry that you have to deal with this. I know how much animals mean to people and if I were in your situation I would be devestated but you need to think about whats best for your kitty. I know this is hard but in the end your kitty needs the best possible care. Has your vet suggested putting the kitty down? If so talk more to him/her about it and see what they have to say and then make a decision. The vet will be able to help you through the decision.
