Exclamation (HELP) Cat problemS! 2 - July 29th 2009, 02:42 PM

i got 2 cats 2 days ago and 1 of them is fine but the other one was having some troubles, we got them from a cat re-homing and they had a bad couple of weeks of there first life, then they went to the home and then we got them, the woman we got them from said that 1 of them was having a stomach problem and was having runny poo, so she said she will hold on and see how he goes, so she rang up said he was doing alot better and she will bring them round, so she did and they seemed great, but then the first night at about 8pm was sick, his poo seems fairly solid, but again last night he was sick again, we dont know if this is because he is having 2 meals a day, tonight we arent going to give him the second one.

Anyway NEXT problem, he is blinking 1 eye alot more than the other, he can see fine but he is just blinking more.

This sucks my last cat died just over month ago, i dont want the same fate for these 2.

take him to the vet for a full check up
it may be the food he's eating my dog penny gets dihaerreah if she eats ANY dog food so we have to feed her rice and chicken, but penny is very old the kitten is a baby so im sure its either food or a small curable virus
keep me posted okay? i have a everything about cat book so i'll look it up and call the local vet for advice and get back to you on it, i'll say a prayer for your new little kitten

Weird about the blinking, never heard about that before.
As for the food, I know ferret's poo's are affected when they change diets. Kittens and ferrets eat about the same thing, so they could have the same problems. Though its just as likely to be a bug as well.
