Well as some of you know I rescue siamese fighting fish and make them better. Some come to me near dead. But Peach came with only a little bit of niped fins. We have been looking after him for almost 2 months now and finaly he will be going to his new home. It will be sad to see him go but looking at a good point. He will have a better tank and a better home which can hold him all the time and not just temp. I can also see him anytime, he is going to my mates mom so this isnt a problem.

Thats really great. I am glad you will get to see him sometimes because it is always hard to give away an animal that you have come to love.

Bettas the most common fish to have problems by fish shops. They dont go into what the fish might need and there forth end up making them ill or killing them and I dont like walking into a shop and seeing the fish suffering. Seeing any fish suffering is enough but a pretty fish like a betta is even worst.

Awwh. I always get that warm feeling after rescueing/taking care of any animal. (:
What your doing is super generous and I bet the Beta are more than grateful. Keep it up.  You will come to realize that what appears today to be a sacrafice will prove instead to be the greatest investment you ever made. |
