okay so about three to four weeks ago we bought two baby albino budgies. they were really cute and would preen each other and play continuosly.
Unfortunately, today, one escaped and flew out of the window. Therefore, its pretty much certain that he has died :' ( Now, the other one has no friend, so we were wondering whether we'd be able to introduce a new budgie to him. Anyone know if that would be okay? torr

I found a useful site which explains how to introduce a new bird into the fold; [LINK]
I hope the information there is enough to satisfy any of your queries; however it may be best to pop along to your vets and see what they have to say about this, as if the bird grew attached to the other one, he/she may not feel like accepting a new partner as they grieve in their own little ways and could be a bit aggressive towards the other. & it's just like she's in another world.
