I need to make a choice

If you aren't a dog lover or know what its like to love a dog then I suggest going away.

So my mum just told me I need to make a choice about whether or not we keep our dogs
We're all so busy we need to think about whether we have the time for them.
I love them so much but once school kicks in we'll be even busier
But they've helped me more than most humans. They're like a part of the family



How can you say goodbye to that

Awww they are adorable. I think you should keep them as long as you can take care of them. Even if you are quite busy you still love them. I think they are better off with a very loving family rather than the random chance of where they may end up(although I'm sure you would find a loving home for them).

I'll agree. Even though it may be getting busy soon, definitely try to hold on to them for as long as you can. Really try to make time to play with them.
how is taking care of these cute dogs different from taking care of them in the past? I think that if you were able to do it before, you'll be able to do it now.
Plus you have an emotional tie to them, that's great. Maybe explain this to your mum?

If you do have to send them away, I would definitely suggest a close friend, or a family member, or someone you know who will let you see them still perhaps and will take great care of them. Instead of the pound or where ever else, you never know exactly where they will go, and you would want to make sure that there is a good place available for them to live.

It sounds like you're definitely thoughtful of your dogs, so you should be able to take care of them just fine. Is there anyway you could try to deliberately schedule in time with your (really adorable) dogs when school starts, just like you would schedule in homework or chores or something?

I think this is a tough situation but I think you should keep them as long as you can still pay them some attention. I had two dogs and I was busy with school but I still had time for them. I would hang out with them at night and on the weekends and whenever I had breaks and they seem pretty contented. As long as you don't completely neglect your dogs they should be happy.

If you can take care of them, then I'd definitely keep them, they are the cutest! However if you don't feel as though you could support them, then I would think about giving them to maybe a family member? That way you can still see them!
