Sugar Gliders -

So my brother's friend is selling two baby sugar gliders, since his had babies. I would love to own these, but I have always heard that they take tons and tons of care and diet stuff and such. It's what I found online, everywhere. BUT he has had sugar gliders for a while and he leaves them their food and water, and they mostly stay in their pouch. I was wondering about anyone else's opinion on this. It is not me that would not want to have to do all the care, my mom wouldn't want to have that. I already take care of my hamster and help with the two cats and two dogs.
So, anyone out there own sugar gliders? "'Colie, you should never be surprised when people treat you with respect. You should expect it.' I shook my head. 'You don't know--' I began. But, as usual, she didn't let me finish. 'Yes,' she said simply, 'I do know. I've watched you, Colie. You walk around like a dog waiting to be kicked.
