Unhappy Might have to give my cat away - September 21st 2009, 04:49 PM

I've had my cat, Eclipse, for eight years. He has gotten me through a lot, and I love him very much. I don't really know how to live without him. Since we moved though, he's been peeing on the floor, and he won't seem to stop. My mom said we're going to have to get rid of him if he doesn't stop soon...

He's one of the most loving cats I've ever met. He will cuddle you all day and night. He LOVES attention; follows you around, headbutts you until you pet him, meows at you when you walk away. He's adorable (though it can get annoying ) But he has never harmed anyone, and he is really good with obeying. I hope we can get him to stop peeing on the floor. He's my baby.

Eclipse <3

Random question, is there any particular area in which he pees most ? if there is put tinfoil down where he pees and that should stop him.. my cousin had the same problem with her cat after one of the others had kittens.

Well, turns out mom is just giving excuses to get rid of all our pets.

She has a home for my cat eclipse, and looking for the other cat Zoey. Then when I move in with my boyfriend I'm able to take the degu and ferret. So...yeah. Don't know when we're getting rid of them though.

I would take the cat to the vet, as sometimes there us a medical reason they pee on the floors ect. Also Why does mom not like the pets?

Well, mom finally put down this pad that's supposed ot house train cats, but my cat doesn't like it lol so he won't go on it.

But I don't know. My mom is really childish and is thinking of excuses to make herself more depressed. And one of those ways is to get rid of our pets.
