It is possible, it happened to me. I live in a flat with 3 care workers working around the clock in shifts. My little cat has attached himself to me. He is sittting next to me know. He was abused and will not go near anyone. Only me he chooses to cuddle up to at night!

It is possible. The pet may feel more secure more with one person. When we got my dog, my dad and I went to get him, and once he saw my mom, he was always following her around, and jumping on her lap.

Meanwhile my bunnies, my brother bought it, and now my bunny will only be nice to me, everyone else he will bite.

And I will take you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong.
Til the day my life is through, this I promise you.121109

Yep, it's very possible, very real, and happens more often than people know.

Not just with animals in homes deciding that one person is the "person for them" but animals in shelters have often attached to prospective owners; you'll read stories about how dogs have seen one person, and decided "that's the one for me" and done everything to get their attention incl howling long after they've left...

sometimes there's just something there, and it's lovely when you find a pet you bond with
