I Have a new dog!! -

Well she''s not new as such.. She's six years old, and we rescued her from Stray aid in Coxhoe, she's gorgeous!!
She's a staffie cross Sharpei But more staffie than sharpei. She's house trained, leader trained, good with kids and she doesn't bark!! My dog wasn't abanded or treated badly, her owners were moving house, and it wasn't dog freindly, so they asked if stray aid would have her, and help her find a home that was suitable, and nice owners. We keeping in touch with stray aid, and posting pictures of her progress, they going to send them off to her last owners, so they can rest easy knowing she's in a nice loving home, with lots of treats, attention and doggie walks.    |

She's beautiful... Wouldn't let my dog near her, he'd probably try and get it on with her :P
I think its so good that you rescued her. Rescue dogs are the best! xxx What a shame, what a shame

She is beautiful. It's great that you got a rescue dog and especially one without behaviour issues. I'm sure she will be a great addition to your family

Her name is Bonnie, although she comes to Bon Bon, and sometimes Lucy lol's.
I like resucing dogs that are older than pups, I've just getting a new house and don't want my new carpets smelling of wee, and the furniture getting chewed up lol. She try's to get into bed with us on a night, under the covers and head on the pillow lol. She's got to be careful jumping at the moment as Strayaid spay all the female dogs, and neatur the male dogs. She had her op around 5 days ago she's healing up nicely but it's inside we have to wait to heal, she also had a lump removed from her leg, she used to be over weight, obv her last owners children were feeding her off the plate, so it was a fatty lump, her stitches have come away and the wound isn't actully healed together.... So little worried about that. She walks on a lead absoulty perfect, and I know if i need to go out for a short while she's okay on her own as long as i pay lots of attention to her when I come back lol. She also met my nephew today, and she was awesome with him, she rolled over on her back so he could stroke her stomach and he fed her some treats and she took them really gently out of his hands, bearing in mind he's only two, and we have him over alot so it's good she likes him, he also met the other nephew today which i was wary about as he likes to wind the dogs up, but they both seemed fine. She's lying in the chair atm with her head in the air and on her back asleep lol. |

Awwwh. She sounds like the perfect rescue - they aren't always that easy!
I love staffies:] She does sound like a lovely dog, I hope you enjoy her :] I'm still alive.

SO cute, I love dogs. * steal your dog away. What's it's name? Wow. house trained already? I'm still training mine. You're lucky. I love your dog, so cute. :] edit: I saw your post on what was your dog's name. Cute name for a dog, Bon Bon. |
