My Ferret has Insolinoma - May 23rd 2010, 03:00 PM

Does anyone else have experience with dealing with this?

We just found out yesterday and on top of that he has a bacterial infection, as do the other two. So we're giving him the glucose treatment, force feeding him food because he's lost a lot of weight, and an antibiotic.

It's so terrible to see him so sick. He just falls asleep wherever and that's unlike him. =[

So you have gray hair and you're only 25

that's just another reason I love you...

Ah, sorry to hear about your ferret =(.
I don't have any experience of this personally, but I'm thinking just continue to follow the vet's orders and hopefully he'll be back to his usual self in no time =).

Hang in there little guy!

Thank you Janos!

It's day four, and he has some energy back. The other two are almost fully recovered from their infections. Hopefully the insulinoma will go into remission after the infection is gone.
