what are the best/cutest kinds to get? piebalds? what are the most common types to find?

Let me give you a few warnings, since I have a mini.

-They are very tough to potty train. You will need lots of patience and lots of potty pads. The sooner you get this habit worked out, the better it'll be for you. Even once you do potty train them, they still love to go to the bathroom in the house anyway.
-They can have pretty saucy attitudes. Be careful introducing them to new people, they are prone to snapping.
-They are not good with children, for the most part.

The best kind depends on what you're OK with. Short hair is usually the best way to go but tend to be more expensive. If you get one from a shelter, it'll be less expensive than if you go through a breeder,

If you do not want to do a lot of grooming then short- haired is your best bet. If you want as for the bathroom issue you can go online and research local groups around you that recuse that breed.

This has several pluses one you can get a slightly older dog that is a bit calmer and out of the puppy issues better-trained ect.

They are usually cheaper and already have their basic shots fixed and all that good stuff.

Also, the places tend do behavior tests to find out how they are around children, other dogs ect.
