My poor wee froggy.

For those who don't already know, my lovely wee frog, Nutmeg is ill atm, he's got a cloudy eye caused by either a bacterial or fungal infection and I've been giving him methylene blue eyedrops.

Unfortunately, it's really hard to see the cloudy eye in photos and it certainly doesn't help that both my camera and photography skills leave a lot to be desired, but this is the one I got before I started the treatment

His other eye is absolutely fine.
Thankfully, it's been clearing up recently, but I'm still worried. =(. I know there's not much chance of actual advice, since everyone here is into things with fur, but I'm just anxious about my poor wee froggy, he's an adorable little guy/girl, lots of character and I don't want it die

. I guess I'm just looking for emotional support...=/.

I know nothing about froggy care, but I do know that it's horrid to have ill pets ): I hope he/she starts getting better. Virtual hugs to you both

I had a problem with my pet guinea pig's eye and I know how hard it was to deal with that. Can't imagine trying to put eye drops into a frog's eye though!

He's okay I think. There's only a wee smudge of the blueness left around his eye now, but it doesn't seem to be improving much from there, which worries me a bit =/.
I dunno, the treatment is still ongoing... Just hoping he/she hangs in there for me

You don't know if your frog is a he or she?
Or like frogs don't have a certain sex?
Sorry for the dumb questions my knowledge is very limited when it comes to frogs.

And I don't actually know. I suspect female, but I won't know for sure until spring and if he/she keeps calling loudly, then he's a he, if she doesn't then she's a she. And damn, that was a complicated sentence >.>
