What's a pet what doesn't need alot of excercise?

On most days I'm bound to my wheelchair, I need a pet whats suitable for me to take care of and doesn't need alot of excercise. It can be in the garden, indoors anything, but I can't have a dog because I can't take it on walks. Any suggestions is welcome

Birds, but they do make alot of noise. A small snake? A tortoise? I hope you find something.

A cat is pretty easy to take care of and can exercise itself if it wants. They're usually pretty independant, but they can also be affectionate and sometimes a little needy. Not to mention, they're cute and sweet.

I'm with Emily on this one. A cat is active enough to keep you entertained and amused, but calm enough that you'll probably never have to go chasing after it. They're both long-lived and intelligent.

Cats are nice. Some other options would probably be reptiles, small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.), fish, or birds.

A bearded dragon, leopard gecko or some other kind of relatively-easy-to-look-after lizard. I'd go for the bearded dragon since it's not nocturnal and a lot more active and, well, they're less lazy.

A tortoise would be good, but just be aware, they need a LOT of work and can live up to 80 years.

If you're more of a fan of mammals, maybe a sugar glider, hedgehog, guinea pig or rat?

Hey, Bex. I hate to point this out, but I'm not sure you're really in the right place for a pet right now. Aren't you taking care of your little brother all by yourself? You'll have to buy food and supplies and make sure to take care of it on top of all the work you're already trying to do. And with the situation with your parents, bringing a pet into your home might actually be harmful to the pet, as well.

But if you're really still wanting a pet, I've always been a big fan of fish. They don't take a lot of work but you can get some really beautiful ones.

The pets not for me but I will looking after it alot, my grandmother has custody of my 12 year old cousin and he wants a pet, but I will be looking after the pet alot. so I need ideas of what I can look after and what is suitable for a immature child.
