how much - August 19th 2011, 12:57 AM

Could anyone tell me approximately how much it costs to get a kittens first shots and also to get fixed? And how old should they normally be?

It depends on your area that you live in, as well as the specific vet. The best thing you can do is to call different vets for prices. Asking them each when a kitten should be fixed is a good idea too. Some will say earlier than others.

We got our cats all fixed when they were about a year old - unfortunately one was pregnant so we had to wait.

No big, but it's just hard to tell you even an estimate since everyone varies so much.

I have ferrets and there are two vets here for them and one is $50/visit and the other is $70

Best of luck finding a good price! lol
