Question about my cat and me -
January 4th 2012, 02:32 AM
I recently got a cat. When we got her, she didn't want to sleep with me now she wants to sleep on my bed all night and day.
I love my cat, but she will keep me up at night. I don't really know why the only reason I can guess is that I'm not use to her being in my room and I'm not use to having my door open at night either so she can get to her litter. The real question is, is what she doing normal? I know I'm not normal, but any advice anyway. ***I apologize if I posted this thread in the wrong place*** ![]() Some say the world will end in fire Some say in ice From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire But if it had to perish twice I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice. -- Robert Frost-- |

I'm pretty sure its normal, because she has gotten used to you and has grown attached to you. I know pets also love to sleep on their owners beds because its comfortable, they like being near their owner, and it makes them feel important.

It's normal. She just wants some company, more than likely. You're the person your kitty trust most and feel most comfortable with. If it does bug you that much, you can shut your door at night. Though, she might meow at the door

Haha
its completely normal! I have a cat too; hes mine and I'm his. Actually, I'm more of his cats get veryyy attached to their owners, and they usually only pick one person in the house to follow around, yell at, and let you hold them for more than 30 seconds. Feel very special! If your worried that she cant get to her litter, bring the litter box into your room at night. As for the sleeping part, put a soft blanket on a part of the bed and maybe that'll get her to lay on that. But really, it is something that you'll get used to eventually at first when I got my kitty, I was very uncomfortable at night sleeping with him because he was so small and I had to get up at least 3 times at night to bring him to his litter to train him, and he would always snuggle up tight against me. I would feel like I cant move because I didn't want to wake him, but really if you move, they just get comfortable again. They move as you move. And I don't suggest closing the cat out of your room at night. When I do that with my cat, he scratches and meows for hours on end at my door. It wakes the whole house up Hope this helps!
When someone apologizes enough times for something they'll never stop doing I think its fearless to stop believing them. I think its fearless to say "Your NOT sorry" and walk away.
I have died everyday waiting for you, darling don't be afraid I have loved you for a thousand years. I'll love you for a thousand more <3 ![]() ~You are my hero~ |
