Ten months?! Super internet high five, girl! You're doing GREAT, I am soooo proud of you! C: That's a milestone not even I have reached and you should keep it up. You can always talk to someone here, listen to music, dance sing, yell! Anything! Just always remember how well you're doing. Alternatives are different for every person but anything that can distract you from it is perfect. Have you tried the rubber band method? If you ever want to talk, you can shoot me a PM or anything. Good luck :3

Like I said, it's always different for people. I know people that had a lot of success with the butterfly project, but that honestly never worked for me. If you look at the sticky on here, they have a list of alternatives. And if none of those work, think of what you really like that distracts you from SH the best! :3

First, you have to realize how GREAT it is that you are 10 months free!
You should be so proud of yourself.
Second, I would advise you to talk to a professional or a trusted adult.
There must be things going on in your life that are making you want to self harm and feel out of control.
It really does help to talk about these things!

I know that if you are very open and honest in therapy and work your butt off... you can feel better.
Think of it this way - you dont want self harm to have control over you.
You are strong, and you can pull through, but you need to tell someone.
Because hurting yourself is something that shouldn't be taken lightly, it's serious.
You are worth it enough to get the help you deserve.

I hope this helped and I hope you talk to someone.
I wish you the best of luck. Message me anytime!
Shelby

Everyone plays a piece in this big orchestra known as life. You're worth something just as much as the next guy and I for one care a lot about how you're doing. C: Stay strong, you've gotten this far and you can do it!

Yes, YOU are worth something.
Please talk to someone, you can feel better and you can get help!
Talk to a trusted adult/parents/professional.

You are stronger than you think Amanada.
We care about you, and we dont want you to hurt yourself, this is serious.
You are loved, but I cannot convince you of that. You have to find that out on your own.

There is help out there, go find it!

Hey Amanda,
I've been feeling the same way lately. Sticking it out is HARD. I don't know if it ever gets easy. I'm on month 18 now and almost just had a relapse. The best advice I can give is just to be stubborn with yourself and say NO. It sounds dumb perhaps but it's the only thing that got me through a few weeks ago. Sometimes when you're feeling low or like there's no point in stopping you just have to stick it out. It's okay if you feel lost, just tell yourself no. Then when the urges subside (and they always do) you'll feel so happy with yourself that you stuck it through.
You can do this girl. Don't get down on yourself. PM if you want, my inbox is always open

Stay strong! It's okay if you slip up, accidents happen. But you'll feel so much better with yourself if you hold on a little longer. It's okay to be sad. Let yourself feel sad. The emotions can be a little overwhelming but accept them and don't use SH to feel better. Hold on, you can do this

I wish I could make it that far! You are doing amazing!! I agree with above talking out your problems is helpful. I was having issues but after texting with my counselor things feel better. Something I get told all the time is you have to fight it becsuse if you give in then your not giving 100% on quitting and you have gone a long time without hurting yourself push to keep it going!!
You are worth so much more than you could ever imagine! If you need to talk you can PM me and Ill reply!! Just stay tough!!

feel free to PM me...
