Hi

After almost a month free I screwed up again I am such a loser I can't do anything right. I was doing so well then everything just started getting to me and I ended up cutting I dont know whats wrong with me or even why I have not just killed myself yet. Why do I try? Why keep living if I am just a failure at everything.....

Ughh I am so ready to die....

Hey there,

First of all it's really good that you felt able to post because it sounds like things are really hard for you at the moment so it's important to know that you don't have to keep things inside and to yourself. You say that you screwed up but just read the first line of your post again - you went almost a month without self harming! That's really good and a big achievement. Yes, you might have slipped up now, but unfortunately they're part of the recovery process. I think it's more about the way you look at and deal with any slip ups and struggles that is what should count, not the fact that you have them.

You ask why you keep living, have you ever actually asked yourself that? When you're thinking about suicide but there's something that keeps you going that question can be really important. Ask yourself what you want from life. Is there a certain job you want to do? Or a place you want to visit? Make them your reasons, no matter how big or small they might seem.

You said things got on top of you, do you want to talk about those things at all? Do you keep a diary? Sometimes writing down your thoughts and feelings on a regular basis can stop them from building up as writing can be a way of letting feelings out without harming yourself, what do you think?

Like I said before, it's really good that you've felt able to post today, you don't have to be on your own. Remember there's always someone to talk to on here.
