Bet The Battle - September 29th 2012, 08:26 PM

Well I was self harming for 4-5 years and this year I made a promise to myself that I would stop well I think I have done better. I used to self harm about 4 times week and I have only done it 5 time in the space of 9 months. Yes I have slipped up and I was upset and ashamed and now I donít feel like that anymore I have proved to my self that not all my problems has to be solved with out doing it.

Iím not upset that I slip up anymore it gives me a bigger drive to get back up, I feel like I have grown so much and have such an open mind and I love it. I love feeling better and not feeling like I have to hide all the time its like I can be my self.

Yeah people slip up, I have slipped up and its not a big deal to me at the moment. Next year I hope to do better I hope to not do it at all or to do it. I feel like Iím getting better and I want thoughts people who slip up or in the middle of there battle once you have that will to stop it get stronger and easier thereís going to be rough time but you just have to hang in there!!

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

Hey Billie. This is so inspiring! I'm so glad that you realize that slip ups are normal and that it happens but that you can pick yourself back up. That's so great and I'm so proud of you!

So dance if it moves you,
and jump in the fire, if it burns you.
I'll throw my arms around you darlin',
and we'll turn to ashes.

Kinda like the way you tell me,
"Baby, please come home. I need you here right now.
I'm crying underwater so you don't hear the sound."

What if I can't forget you?
I'll burn your name into my throat.
I'll be the fire that'll catch you.
What's so good about picking up the pieces?
