Hey there,
Depression and the feeling on loneliness is hard to overcome, same with the sh'ing. But, focus on the good moments and don't dwell on the bad.
You should distance yourself from things that make you feel worse or just tell yourself 'I can get better, there is nothing that can hurt me, I can win this' reinforce the power of positive thinking.

Jay.

I feel the same way a lot too. Just try to remember that depression and loneliness will always pass. Also, if you're not sure if you're getting better or just getting used to pain, it could mean that you're getting stronger But please don't self harm

Do we remember all the sad things that happened before today, or have we forgotten them?

Hi There,

It definitely is difficult but try your best to stay positive.
Reach out to friends, adults you can trust such as your parents, teachers, a counselor or therapist, or other family member or professional that you may trust. Talking through what is stressing you out, bothering you, annoying you or life in general is very useful compared to leaving everything inside.
You do not have to overcome these things on your own and it will be a difficult process and maybe there are slip ups however do not let them get you down and do your best to learn to deal with what makes you have the urges to self harm or what makes you depressed.
If you haven't yet, I suggest looking at this thread, it lists alternatives to Self Harm and all of them are different so there is most likely something that will help you distract from the urges.
Also making a log of things you find to be nice each day may help or a log of things you accomplish each day. These can show you that you are important and that there are amazing things in life. A lot of times, we get so depressed or think so much about how we are feeling, that we do not look around us and see all of the beauty this world has to offer us, some of the gifts that have been given to us to make us feel calmer and that can make us happier.
Hopefully this helps and I am here if you ever need someone.
Take care.

hello

Personally I think you first have to figure out why you are feeling this way. What is triggering you to be depressed and to want to self-harm. Whatever it is, try to get what ever is messing with you out of your life. Or this is a sensitive topic but try going to a therapist that really does help. They can help you find whatever it is that is bothering you. Because it could be rooted deep within your past. Also try talking to others that you know care about you and that you can trust. I hope this helped and I do hope you get better. Stay positive and keep moving forward.
